No sound from one speaker due to possible damaged speaker/sound card

Cause:

No sound from one speaker when playing sound files because speaker or sound card may be damaged.

Solution:

If possible, locate another set of computer speakers and try. If the second set of speakers work, contact the speaker manufacturer. If they do not work, contact the sound card manufacturer.
